RF-45 1 – Stainless Steel Vertically Mounted Level Switch

This all stainless steel level switch is vertically mounted to give either a high level or low level signal and is reversible meaning that it can be either normally open or normally closed. The RF-4501 has an all 304 grade contruction and the RF-4561 is constructed from 316 grade stainless steel.

The switch comes with 300mm leads but can be made with various lead or cable lengths (please get in touch with your requirements, minimum order quantities may apply).

Principle

When the magnetic field of permanent magnet inside the float is moved into to the proximity of the reed switch inside the stationary stem, the reed switch contacts “snap” together and closes the electrical circuit. When the magnetic field is moved away from the reed switch, the reed switch contacts move apart and the circuit is opened.
