LS-1950-(E) – Intrinsically safe ATEX Level Switch

This is the ATEX approved version of the standard LS-1950-(E).

For high performance applications, these models provide high temperature and pressure capabilities. Materials of construction comply with FDA food contact regulations. Exceptionally accurate and rugged for higher temperatures and in pressurized or corrosive liquids. For oils, water and chemicals.

Principle

When the magnetic field of permanent magnet inside the float is moved into to the proximity of the reed switch inside the stationary stem, the reed switch contacts “snap” together and closes the electrical circuit. When the magnetic field is moved away from the reed switch, the reed switch contacts move apart and the circuit is broken.
